HOW TO CREATE PROV FILES USING CLASS EDITOR FOR S40 PHONES

Creating Prov with Class-
Editor Getting Started: 1.
Get class-editor installed
in your phone. 2. Make
sure you have an initial
prove file on your phone
for the intended network
and kind of phone you
wish to use it. ie. if you
intend making a prove file
for mtn for an xpress
music phone, you should
have a prov file on your
phone already that used
to work. NOTE: the aim is
not to create a new prov
file but to edit a former
prov file to have the latest
working free browsing IP.
Making The Prov: 1. Open
your Class-Editor 2. Choose
the drive directory in
which you have your prov.
(Mind you, you might
have to approve class-
editor to show these files,
keep saying yes for
approval). 3. Choose the
prove you intend
changing its IP. 4. Now
when it opens you'll see
something like this: j#

5. Don't worry just easily
scroll right till you get to
the IPs. (Now this might
be trickish so you have to
make sure the black
cursor is on the first
number that made up the
old IP). 6. Now press in
your center button. 7. The
centre button will bring
out a list. ie. HEX, Symbol,
DEC, Text..... 8. You should
choose Text. 9. Put in the
IPs like this:
251.324.124.232 10. Your
right key bellow your
screen should say more,
now press it. 11. Scroll
down to OK and Press OK.
12. Tap your button
towards right to add your
new IPs. 13. Now move
(Cover with the cursor) to
the first number that
made up the old IPs. 14.
Tap your delete key
gently to swallow(erase)
only the old IPs. 15. Press
the left key below your
screen to show you
options. 16. Scroll down to
"Save as" and save with a
name you can Identify
Easily for the network and
IP you created it for. eg.
MTN251.324.124.232.prov
17. Below your screen,
click on more and scroll
down to Save. 18. Smille.
